Upcoming Events

January 15, 2025 | Mental Health Town Hall | 12:00 – 1:30 PM

Safe Tech. Digital Addiction. Sextortion. AI. & More

When technology drives manipulation, exploitation, and isolation, mental health suffers, and lives are lost - this Town Hall brings truth, tools, and accountability to a crisis we can no longer ignore.

January 15 | 12:00-1:30 PM
Lunch served from 12:00-12:30 PM
Speakers from 12:30-1:30 PM

Silicon Slopes Headquarters
2600 W Executive Pkwy, Suite 140. Lehi, Utah

This is a critical, life-saving community conversation. Sextortion is escalating at alarming rates and devastating lives. Digital addiction is isolating youth and eroding real connections. AI is accelerating manipulation, impersonation, and exploitation. Mental health is suffering, and the cost is measured in lives. Awareness alone is no longer enough. This Town Hall is about action, accountability, and prevention.

Town Hall Speakers:

Brandy Vega, Founder, Promise2Live
Why Promise2Live exists. Why early intervention saves lives. Why safe tech, human connection, and community accountability matter now more than ever.

Dr. Dave Morgan, Doctor of Mental Health
How digital overload, comparison culture, and constant stimulation are impacting mental health, increasing anxiety, depression, and suicide risk, and the warning signs families must recognize.

Dr. Dan Lathen, Neuroscientist and Founder, Cortex Evolution
What screens, dopamine, and habit loops are doing to the brain, why digital addiction forms so quickly, and how to rebuild focus, resilience, and healthy boundaries.

Joe Marvullo, Director of Technology and Men's Mental Health Lead, Promise2Live
The real digital threats impacting kids and teens today-sextortion, AI manipulation, social media pressure-and practical, age-appropriate safety strategies families can use immediately.

Who Should Attend: Parents and caregivers. Students and teens. Educators and school leaders. Business and community leaders. Anyone who cares about protecting lives. This is not about fear. This is about saving lives. This conversation matters.
